Useful SendStudio Tip

This month I decided to publish a quick tip work-around for those customers taking advantage of our hosted SendStudio Mailing List Manager software.

Recently, one of my customers, Greg Carter, proprietor of WTAMM.com, astutely made me aware of a bug in SendStudio when sending an HTML e-mail message using the embed images in the content option. The embed images option does the following:

“This will embed the images from the content inside the email the subscribers receive. This may make the email significantly larger but will allow subscribers to view the content offline.”

There is a problem when sending HTML formatted e-mail campaigns using this option, particularly when sending to subscribers with an AOL e-mail address. Some of the images embedded within your message are sent as ZIP file attachments instead of being included in the message layout.

The work-around is to make sure the embed images in the content option is NOT selected when sending your campaign. Follow the simple steps below to make sure your e-mail campaigns are sent without issue.

SS-1_520
Choose the campaign you wish to send.

SS-2_520
Choose the mailing list(s) to which the campaign will be sent.

SS-3_520
Uncheck the “Yes, embed images in the content” option.
